Description

A vintage Japanese togatta style kokeshi by master craftsman Sato Ushizo (1889-1986). Sato Ushizo worked in both the Hijori and Togatta styles and taught a number of masters of these styles. This rare kokeshi has an aged patina and because of this is probably an earlier representation of his work.
