Extend your Sashiko stitching with Hitomezashi

Sashiko is a beautiful and elegant stitching tradition from Japan. Our tutor Andrea Taylor, has 20 years experience in teaching and stitching Sashiko and other textile arts. She regularly visits Japan to search for traditional textiles and indigo dyeing techniques will take you on a traditional stitching experience.

This class builds upon our Sashiko introductory class, will cover traditional methods of transferring designs, more complex stitching techniques as well as the use of different fabrics and Sashiko threads. A kit is included in the cost of the class fee. Suitable for those with some prior experience or those who have taken part in our Sashiko workshop and would like to take their stitching further.

You will take away with you a completed design.

There will be a 20% discount for participants off all textile products on the day, excluding books.

When: Sunday 8th March 2020 from 10am - 12.30 pm

Click and Collect

At checkout select the ‘Click and Collect’ shipping method. You will be contacted by a Kazari + Ziguzagu team member who will advise when you can collect your items. Items will be ready for collection within 1 business day and must be collected within 5 business days unless otherwise arranged.

Charges apply for storage beyond the initial period. You may also decide to use the Click and Collect service if you have an existing/preferred carrier for interstate and international shipping.

Shipping

We can ship orders worldwide. Kazari uses competitive and reliable shipping services including but not limited to Australia Post, DHL and local couriers and carriers, as well as art and antique specific interstate and international carriers.

Shipping can be added at checkout for Domestic deliveries (Australia).
