A traditional Japanese kokeshi from the Naruko family, the oldest style of kokeshi. She has a typical single fringed bang, with a top knot, with decoartive red lines called mizuhikite on either side. Her face has a neko bana, round cat's nose and single crescent eyes. The chrysanthemum decoration is common to many tradtional kokeshi. Signed on the base by Okazaki Jinji (b.1929-).
