Description

Vintage Japanese lacquer document box, ryoshibako with an unusual caramel lacquer lid featuring a winter landscape design with weeping willow and figures on a barge in raised relief. An artist stamp can be seen on the lower right hand corner of the lid. It dates from the 1960's. It comes with an orginal paulownia storage box as pictured.
