Finely painted antique Chinese subject six panel Japanese screen of a temple landscape with applied ink and colour on a gold leaf background; the temple hierachy receiving entertainers including a Portuguese with an instrument carried on his shoulder. Fully remounted. Early Edo period, C17th.
