  • Bamboo:Tradition in Contemporary Form at the NGV

    The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) International has recently launched a new exhibition titled Bamboo: Tradition in Contemporary Form which explores the sculptural power of Japanese bamboo art and incorporates 27 works both contemporary and traditional.  The bamboo works included in this collection are complemented by related Japanese objects, lacquer ware, prints and paintings.

    Bamboo: Tradition in Contemporary Form runs from 7th July 2016 through to February 2017 at NGV International, Level 1, Art of Japan. Open 10am-5pm daily, for more information please visit the NGV website.
