Shibori Workshop with Andrea Taylor.

 

Learn the traditional Japanese art of shibori, a resist dying technique using an organic indigo vat in this two and a half hour workshop.

Our tutor Andrea Taylor, has 20 years experience in teaching and indigo dying and other textile arts. She regularly visits Japan to search for traditional textiles and indigo dyeing techniques will take you on a traditional shibori indigo dying experience.

Learn a number of different folding and stitching techniques and have the chance to experiment to create your own unique patterns.

You will leave with your very own shibori indigo dyed paj silk scarf. 

 

There will be a 20% discount for participants off all textile products on the day, excluding books.

When: Sunday 7th April, from 10am - 12.30 pm

(There will be an opportunity to purchase additional scarves on the day)

Click and Collect

At checkout select the ‘Click and Collect’ shipping method. You will be contacted by a Kazari + Ziguzagu team member who will advise when you can collect your items. Items will be ready for collection within 1 business day and must be collected within 5 business days unless otherwise arranged.

Charges apply for storage beyond the initial period. You may also decide to use the Click and Collect service if you have an existing/preferred carrier for interstate and international shipping.

We can ship orders worldwide. Kazari + Ziguzagu uses competitive and reliable shipping services including but not limited to Auspost, DHL and local couriers and carriers, as well as art and antique specific interstate and international carriers.
