Otafuku as a Figure in Japanese Folklore:

Meaning: "Otafuku" translates to "much good fortune" or "plenty of happiness".

Appearance: She's often depicted with large cheeks and a joyful smile.

Role: She is known as the Goddess of Mirth in the Shinto religion and is often seen with Hyottoko, a god of wind, or Fukusuke, a male counterpart representing happiness and good luck.
Symbolism: Otafuku represents a lovely, always smiling Japanese woman who brings happiness and good fortune.
