A rare and finely executed Japanese two-panel 'shunga' screen, delicately hand-painted with erotic scenes of lovers in moments of intimacy. Rich in both artistic detail and cultural significance, shunga (spring pictures) were a celebrated form of Edo and Meiji period art, often reflecting humor, sensuality, and the fleeting nature of pleasure.
